Apple announces macOS 10.16 is called Big Sur

Apple has filed for dozens upon dozens of California-themed trademark applications for macOS names over the years, some of which like Yosemite, Sierra and Mojave were indeed used for major macOS releases. And today at the WWDC 2020 keynote, software engineering chief Craig Federighi announced that the official code-name for macOS 10.16 is "Big Sur".

New iPadOS Scribble feature turns handwriting into text

The next version of iPadOS includes a new feature called 'Scribble,' which recognizes your handwriting and turns it into text. Apple says it has made big improvements to handwriting recognition, and the ability to turn it into text lets you quickly do things like edit, copy and format it.
