Apple didn't miss a chance to help spice up its Apple Watch lineup, offering up new watch faces along with plenty of new features tied to watchOS 6 and its public launch later this year after the big WWDC unveil.
One of my biggest beefs with the Apple Watch for the longest time has been the lack of a native Calculator app much like what you’d expect to find on your iPhone’s Home Screen. Fortunately, Apple is finally resolving this issue with watchOS 6, which Apple announced today at WWDC 2019.
As shown in the screenshot example above, watchOS 6 will incorporate a full-blown calculator interface into the Apple Watch, allowing you to perform basic mathematic calculations right from the comfort of your wrist. The interface should look mostly familiar to iOS users, as it gets many of its design cues from the iPhone’s Calculator app.

As promised, Apple has released the first betas of all of the platform updates it announced at its WWDC keynote earlier today. This includes iOS 13, tvOS 13, watchOS 6 and macOS 10.15. Registered developers can grab the betas from Apple's Dev Center.

Among those features are new watch faces, hourly audio chimes—such as birds chirping and streaming audio APIs. Apple has also added new apps such as Calculator and Audio Books, and helped the Watch gain further independence from the iPhone.
