Twelve South’s BookBook vintage-style case now available for iPad Pro

Twelve South's BookBook vintage leather case series is now available in iPad Pro sizes, the company announced today. The new BookBook for iPad Pro has a built-in kickstand that tilts the device to the sketcher’s angle for effortless drawing, painting and sketching. Plus, it folds easily into upright mode so that you can present more easily.

As a nice bonus, the case has a built-in holster inside its spine for an Apple Pencil or another stylus brand. BookBook for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is available starting today, while a version for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is slated to arrive later this summer.

Twelve South TimePorter for Apple Watch review

I travel quite often and have spent an embarrassing amount of time looking for the perfect travel charger for my Apple Watch. I want to pack a few extra bands, the charging puck, and the wall adapter. Yet nothing I've run across can handle all that, let alone while looking good. That was at least the case before I ran across the TimePorter from Twelve South.

Twelve South unveils ‘TimePorter,’ a travel tote and portable charging stand for Apple Watch

Twelve South, the maker of premium Apple-exclusive accessories, on Thursday announced a combined charge and travel stand for the Apple Watch, dubbed the TimePorter. Resembling a luxury eyeglass case, this stylish accessory is designed to hold your Apple Watch charging cable, as well as extra Watch bands USB chargers and more. The case incorporates the Apple Watch charging disc and converts into a travel charging and display stand in an instant.

Twelve South updates BookBooks for iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4, previews BookBook for iPad Pro

Premium, Apple-exclusive accessory maker Twelve South has refreshed its lineup of vintage leather cases that offer both protection and nice disguise with two new versions, one for the iPad Air 2 and the other for the iPad mini 4. In addition, the company has previewed a BookBook case for the iPad Pro, which will be shipping this Spring.

BookBook for iPad Pro will have “features that complete your iPad Pro,” including a display stand, a built-in sketching angle and an integrated pocket to protect and store your Apple Pencil.

The BookBook for iPhone 6s case is not just for the literary types

With the hundreds of leather wallet cases on the market, the biggest decision you have to make is how many credit card slots you want. If you want your wallet case to stand out in a crowd, try covering it in Twelve South's BookBook case.

Today, we are spotlighting the BookBook case to provide our readers with options for the type of case they may want to invest in to protect their iPhone 6s. We have not recently reviewed the case (we did a couple times in the past for other devices) and are unable to attest to its quality, but chose to spotlight it because of its high rating on Amazon.

Twelve South Forté review: a truly luxurious stand for Apple Watch

Soon after the launch of Apple Watch, Twelve South released HiRise, its first charging stand for the digital timepiece. Our review of the $50 accessory detailed it as a solid product that did its job well, with its durable build and aluminum finish giving it a pleasantly subtle design.

Now, Twelve South is back with Forté, a bolder, more luxurious Apple Watch stand that is designed to be more versatile while remaining true to Twelve South’s Apple-like design paradigm. Supporting closed and open bands, portrait and landscape charging, and a docked Apple Watch and iPhone, Forté shines with the aura of a stand that could’ve easily been designed by Apple. And by selling it in their online and retail stores, Apple has, in a way, put their stamp of approval on Forté.

Twelve South launches Forté stand for Apple Watch

Apple-exclusive accessory maker Twelve South released its HiRise charging stand for the Apple Watch back in the summer.

As I noted in my review, the only thing holding it and other Apple Watch stands back is a somewhat complicated setup requiring you to assemble the pieces yourself, including using the inductive charging disc that came with your watch.

Now Twelve South has created the Forté as a brand new Apple Watch stand that supports both portrait and Nightstand modes while allowing you to simultaneously rest your iPhone on the base of the accessory.

San Francisco wallpapers for dual screens

The Wallpapers of the Week section is designed to bring you fresh images for iOS devices. By combing through the web and viewing submissions from readers, we post the best of whats around, on a weekly basis.

Today, we depart from the iOS specific restriction and delve into a fairly niche wallpaper genre. Inside, find four sets of dual screen wallpapers for various devices. Naturally, they can be used as standalones, but really shine when paired.

Review: Twelve South HiRise for Apple Watch—an unassuming charging dock and a great stand

Apple Watch stands are multiplying like rabbits and getting more useful. Today, I get to tell you all about the HiRise for Apple Watch.

This is one of the first stands for Apple’s wearable device and the very first watch stand from Twelve South, a company based in Charleston, South Carolina which has been designing premium accessories exclusively for use with Apple devices.

Like their popular HiRise stand for iPhone and iPad, the Apple Watch edition helps protect your device while it's charging. And like other Twelve South products, it looks gorgeous and was designed to support all Apple Watch sizes, models and bands.

But is it worth your attention? Read on for all the details.

GMYLE Book Case for iPhone 6 Plus review: fake it ’til you make it

The original BookBook case for the iPhone 4 was a trendsetter and one of my favorite iPhone accessories ever. Unfortunately, the version for the iPhone 5 didn't hold up nearly as well for me, and started coming apart at the seams after just a few months. With the BookBook case for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Twelve South appears to be back at their winning ways with some innovative new features.

Due to the company's success, it's not surprising that several copycat cases have surfaced online. One such case, the GMYLE Book Case, is a shameless copy of Twelve South's popular case line. In fact, it's so shameless that my curiosity got the best of me, and I had to order one.

Review: Twelve South SurfacePad, a stylish jacket for your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

In the market for a smartphone case that offers reasonable protection and doesn't bulk up your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? Look no further than the SurfacePad, a stylish, ultra-slim protection for your precious pocket computer by Twelve South, the premium maker of Apple-exclusive accessories.

Unveiled in November 2014, the SurfacePad is a leather jacket that doesn't conceal key design elements of Apple's gorgeous new iPhones. It's going to appeal to fashion conscious types like yours truly who like their iPhones naked.

But how does it hold up in everyday life and, more crucially, over longer periods of use? Having used the SurfacePad exclusively as my iPhone 6 Plus case for the past four months, here's what I was able to gather from my hands-on experience with it.
