Your Apple ID is Limited to 10 Devices

Apple has always limited users to a certain number of devices for authorization with a specific Apple ID. The rules and terms of multiple device syncing with an Apple ID have always been a little confusing, with the introduction of iCloud posing an even bigger problem for how purchased content can be distributed and synced across multiple devices.

Apparently, the system of Apple ID authorization isn't as smooth as we all thought it was. You're actually limited to 10 total devices for one Apple ID...

iCloud.com Now Syncing With iOS 5 and iWork Apps

Apple's new iCloud service has taken another step towards its publish launch, with the combination of a new iCloud website and beta versions of the iOS iWork apps meaning cross-device syncing is almost here.

The new iCloud.com website offers users the chance to download saved documents for offline use, such as printing. And it also gives them the chance to upload your own iWork-compatible content, and then iCloud can push it out to iDevices using the same account.

Oh, and those iDevices? Syncing works from them too...

iOS 5 Takes ‘PC-Free’ One Step Further with Time Capsule and Airport Base Station Setup

In another step toward killing the PC, Apple's iOS 5 now allows users to set up the company's own Time Capsule and Airport hardware, according to an AppleInsider reader.

Until now, setting up either of Apple's networking solutions required a PC, but once iOS 5 is released later this year, users will be able to get online with nothing more than an iPod touch...

iOS 5 Beta 4 Brings Documents to the iCloud

Apple has released iOS 5 Beta 4, and people are starting to find interesting additions and changes made in Apple's latest beta build.

Apparently, Apple has finally turned on document syncing with iCloud, so apps can now start syncing iWork documents between all of your iDevices. This is great news for developers to start field testing document syncing in their own apps, and a nice preview of what's to come for us all this Fall...

New in iOS 5: Use Your iPhone While Syncing with iTunes

One more feature to make our ultimate list of new iOS 5 features is the ability to now use your iPhone while it is syncing with iTunes. Until now, you couldn't use your iPhone or iDevice while it was syncing. This is now a thing of the past.

As you can see on the image above, the new "syncing" icon is running in the status bar, but I can still "slide to unlock" to use my iPhone. Jailbreakers might already be familiar with this feature as it was first made possible with Synchronicity...

Apple Introduces iCloud

It's finally here, folks! Apple has introduced and detailed the mysterious iCloud. Steve Jobs himself says that iCloud is something the company has been working on for 10 years, and iCloud has totally replaced MobileMe and added new services, such as Photo Stream.

Safari “Reading List” in Mac OS X Lion Will Wirelessly Sync Bookmarks with iOS Devices

Apple's next version of their desktop operating system, Mac OS X Lion, is nearing the final stages of developer beta testing. It is suspected that Apple will release the new OS to Mac users this summer.

More and more features are being uncovered in the developer builds of OS X Lion, and a recent finding points to a cloud-synced bookmark feature in Apple's browser, Safari. The new "Reading List" feature in OS X Lion will allow users to wirelessly sync their bookmarked webpages with iOS devices.

This would allow you to easily take your bookmarked pages with you on the go...
