Some great USB-C hubs for your new MacBook Pro

If you recently picked up one of Apple's new MacBook Pros, you're probably suffering from port shock. The laptop only includes 4 USB-C connections—the non-Touch Bar model only has 2—and chances are your current accessories and peripherals don't support them.

An easy way to remedy this is to buy a hub. This will connect to a single USB-C port on your MacBook Pro, and provide you with various useful connections like USB 3.0, HDMI, and even an SD card reader. Below we've listed some great hub options for your new Mac.

USB-C adapters you may need for your new MacBook Pro

If you have purchased Apple's new MacBook Pro, or are planning on doing so, chances are you're going to need some dongles and adapters. The laptop has only USB-C ports, so you're likely going to need some help connecting your old hardware and peripherals.

With this in mind, we've decided to put together a list of some common USB-C adapters to help get you started. As with all of our accessory roundups, the following items were chosen based on a variety of factors including price, availability and consumer feedback.

7 USB-C cables you might need for your new MacBook Pro

There's a lot to love about Apple's new MacBook Pros. They're sleeker, smaller, have a larger trackpad and better speakers, and feature all-new USB-C ports. Unfortunately, these new ports also mean you're probably going to need to purchase some new cables.

Want to plug in your iPhone? You'll need a new cable. Connect your MacBook Pro to a non-Thunderbolt display? Yep, cable. You get the idea. So with this in mind, we decided to put together a list of some of the common cables you're probably going to need.

Some great alternatives to the Apple Watch Nike+ band

We were really bummed when we found out that the stylish fluoroelastomer bands shown with the Apple Watch Nike+ are exclusive to the model. This means that those of us who already own an Apple Watch can't purchase these bands separately.

Luckily, we were able to track down some Apple Watch bands on Amazon that take inspiration from the Nike band design. Obviously they aren't made with the same quality or materials, but for those in search of alternatives, here are some good ones.

Waterproof cases for iPhone 7

The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are "water resistant" (though Apple's warranty doesn't cover liquid damage), and that's fine for accidental spills and splashes, but it's not good enough protection for taking pictures in the pool. For that, you're going to want a waterproof case.

Since the iPhone 7 is still rather new, there aren't a ton of waterproof cases available for it just yet—popular accessory-maker Lifeproof still says 'Coming Soon' on its website—but we were able to put together a list of some solid options based on feedback and features.

Battery cases for your new iPhone 7

Apple says the iPhone 7 gets up to two more hours of power over the iPhone 6s, and the iPhone 7 Plus gets an additional hour over its predecessor. But folks wanting true all-day battery life, or erratic all-weekend battery life, are still going to need some help.

That's where battery cases come in. A battery case can double (or more) your iPhone's battery life. There aren't a ton of them available for the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus yet, but we've put together a list of some solid options based on price and customer feedback.
