After successfully launching of Peak Design’s Outdoor Line of backpacks and sling bags, which started out as a crowdfunded Kickstarter campaign and rapidly moved to the brand’s official website for purchase, it seems the popular bag and camera accessory maker has taken to the drawing board once more, this time taking aim at the aspiring traveler.
You may recall that back in September, the Peak Design team launched a Kickstarter campaign for an all-new Outdoor line of backpack and sling bags tailored toward the likes of adventurous photographers. Approaching nearly $3.5 million in funding after seeking a $50,000 funding goal, it’s safe to say that the campaign was a complete success.
Folks who know Peak Design also know that the brand makes wonderfully high-quality photography gear, ranging from camera bags to camera straps, and everything in between. Occasionally, Peak Design even collaborates with other brands, and that’s precisely what we’re here to talk about.
With the announcement of the new iPhone 16 & 16 Pro lineup on Monday, case and accessory makers are already punching out new products to suit them. Peak Design has long been known for its ambitious storage bags that suit not only everyday travel in almost any setting, but also for its photographer-conscious bag layouts that make storing camera equipment, accessories, and a laptop especially easy. They now offer a wide range of backpacks, slings, duffels, and smaller organization packs.
Back in April, Peak Design announced a new Coyote tan colorway for many of the brand’s popular camera straps. Given the positive response to the new color, Peak Design has now decided to double down on the new colorway, applying it to more products.
