NCTextColor lets you add vibrancy to Notification Center

Notification Center always has white text by default, but with a new free jailbreak tweak called NCTextColor, you can mix things up a little bit with some of your own favorite colors and settings.

This tweak works great for anyone who themes their iPhone and wants Notification Center's colors to better compliment the theme they're using, but you don't have to be a theme user to love what you can do with this tweak.

Delete messages from the Lock screen & Notification Center with MadridDelete

MadridDelete is a new free jailbreak tweak that lets you easily delete SMS and iMessages from either the Lock screen or Notification Center, rather than having to be in the Messages app.

Although you can typically clear notifications and mark messages as read from these places, you have never actually been able to delete a message from the Lock screen or Notification Center until now.

Notum brings music and a new look to Notification Center

Notum is a new jailbreak tweak that not only enhances the way Notification Center looks, but also adds a new page to it for interacting with your currently-playing music or media.

One of the first things that will stand out after you install this tweak is the new animation you'll see while opening and closing Notification Center on your device.

NotiCopy lets you copy the text of iOS notifications

Sometimes you get important information from people in your iOS notifications that you'd like to do more than just read. For these situations, a new free jailbreak tweak called NotiCopy will come greatly in handy.

With this tweak, you can easily copy the information in any notification from your Lock screen or Notification Center to your clipboard so you can paste it later on.

No, widgets haven’t been removed from iOS 10’s Notification Center

Widgets are a big deal in iOS 10. In addition to having new capabilities such as increased support for 3D Touch and the ability to play—and even stream—video inline, they now have a dedicated side panel on the Lock screen. Now, some people have voiced concerns about widgets having been removed entirely from the Notification Center on iOS 10.

Luckily, that's not entirely true.

iOS 10 tidbit: clearing all notifications at once with a simple 3D Touch gesture

One of the longest-standing complaints about iOS has got to be its inexplicable lack of a Clear All button in the Notification Center that would permit users to clear out all of their missed alerts in one go rather than dismissing them one by one, like an animal.

Not anymore: iOS 10 makes expanded use of 3D Touch throughout the system, including making all missed notifications disappear with a single press.

How to control Apple TV from your iPhone’s Lock screen with CiderTV widget

CiderTV, a software-based alternative for your Apple TV Remote, includes a built-in keyboard and has the ability to control linked Smart TV volume. As of recently, the app comes with a handy widget that makes it possible to control most of the functions of your Apple TV right from the Notification Center. It will save you a lot of time, here's how to get started with CiderTV and set up the widget.

Check out this endless runner game you can play from Notification Center

Knowing that Apple has been restrictive in the past on what is and what isn't allowed to pass in the App Store for a Notification Center widget, it can be fun when little gems find their way into the top charts section and you stumble upon them.

While looking through them, I discovered a free endless runner game called Steve - The Jumping Dinosaur, but unlike other endless runners you've played before, this game is played inside of a Notification Center widget rather than from the app itself.
