‘Calendar Pro’ adds a configurable calendar to Notification Center

Back in October we brought you a walkthrough of Calendar for Notification Center. Needless to say it was so barebones that I don't even believe we made a post about it.

Now the same developer behind Calendar for Notification Center is back, this time with Calendar Pro.

How does Calendar Pro compare to its predecessor? Better yet, will it meet the needs of those who desire a calendar in iOS 5's Notification Center?

‘Notificator’ allows you to customize iOS system events with banners and sounds

Wouldn't it be neat to receive a banner notification once that huge app finishes downloading? What about a less intrusive banner notification when your device is running low on battery life?

Notificator is an upcoming jailbreak tweak that can do that and more. In total there are eight system events that can be customized with both banners and sound to keep you abreast of what's happening on your device.

How to enable fast Notification Center background blurring

Looking for an instantaneous method for blurring the background after invoking Notification Center?

If so, then perhaps Ryan Petrich's longwinded FastBlurredNotificationCenter will suit your needs.

This is a free jailbreak tweak available on Petrich's beta repo, which causes an instant blur effect for Notification Center.

Inside we have a brief video of it in action, along with the link you need to score a free copy for yourself...

‘LowPowerBanner’ removes obtrusive low battery alerts in favor of banner notifications

I can't be the only one that thinks it's weird that Apple's still using those focus stealing low battery alerts, can I? I mean, doesn't it seem like Apple would have preferred to use iOS 5's new banner notifications instead?

Well, apparently I'm not the only one who feels that way, because a new tweak has been released in Cydia named LowPowerBanner, and it does just that...

How to add world clocks to Notification Center

If you're a big traveller, then would it not be convenient to have world clock access in Notification Center?

With a new jailbreak tweak aptly entitled WorldClockCenter, now you can.

WorldClockCenter takes all of the world clocks you have configured inside the stock Clock app, and places them in Notification Center, along with a few extra configurable options. Check out our brief video walkthrough inside...

‘WeeToolbox’ adds 5 free functions to Notification Center

Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like awesome free jailbreak tweaks are more of the exception than the norm these days. For that reason, it's always refreshing to see a good tweak that's free, as is the case with WeeToolbox.

WeeToolbox adds five different functions — Tweet, Dial, Flashlight, Pastie, and Camera — to Notification Center, and it's completely free...

‘WeeRoll’ makes its way to the Cydia store

WeeRoll, the Notification Center animation tweak that we covered last week, has been released on the Cydia Store.

WeeRoll adds over a dozen Animations to Notification Center, it's like a juiced up version of a similar tweak called Flowtation, and gleans inspiration from Barrel.

It can now be downloaded for $0.99 on the ModMyi repo, and works with jailbroken iOS 5 devices. Let us know if you decide to give it a spin.

FastClear: Clear notifications with a single tap

Does tapping twice to clear Notification Center notifications get on your nerves? Well, if you haven't used one of the many already available tweaks to eliminate the issue, perhaps FastClear is what you need?

FastClear is a simple tweak that makes the "clear" dialogue display on Notification Center instead of the "x". This enables you to clear all of your notifications with a single tap instead of two...

How to launch Siri from Notification Center

Since just about everything else can be launched or accessed from Notification Center, wouldn't it be nice if you could invoke Siri directly from there as well?

With the help of a jailbreak tweak entitled SiriLaunch, now that's possible. SiriLaunch places a little Siri icon shortcut in the bottom left-hand corner of your Notification Center panel for easy access to your personal assistant...

‘WeeRoll’ will add over a dozen animations to Notification Center

WeeRoll is an unreleased jailbreak tweak that lends the ability to add over a dozen animations to iOS 5's Notification Center.

It's very similar to the Flowtation tweak we covered a while back, except that there's a lot more animation options bundled with WeeRoll.

I asked the developer why his tweak had so many animations, and he replied: "That's just how WeeRoll". Okay, I admit that was bad, really bad.

To make up for it, enjoy this special video preview of WeeRoll in action...
