Resident Apple mockup artist Martin Hajek is on a roll lately. Just a day following his publication of the traditional iWatch concept which adorns the April 2013 cover of the MacUser magazine, he's back at it with a new Apple television mockup that has Jony Ive written all over it. The beautiful renderings are based on the familiar iMac look and sport the sinister black design, with details reminiscent of the iPhone 5. Go past the fold for the full awesomeness...

Fresh iPhone 6 mockups call for a 4.6-inch edge-to-edge display

Martin Hajek, a 3D artist well-regarded for his mockups of future gadgets, is back at it again, this time with a fresh batch of renditions depicting what an iPhone 6 with a 4.6-inch screen might look like. He's calling for an edge-to-edge screen assembly - which in his vision looks just stellar - and the aluminum Unibody chassis with anodized black and silver back.

It's kinda like a cross between the iPad's back shell and the iPhone 5's two-tone design. Notice the ultra thin bezels and the lack of the Home button...

New iWatch concept takes a more traditional approach

As reports claiming that Apple is working on a wristwatch-like device continue to swirl, and subsequent speculation grows, concept artists have taken to their digital palettes to create their own versions of the so-called 'iWatch.'

We've already seen a handful of these Apple-watch mockups—most of which feature curved glass displays and futuristic designs. But today, we've come across a concept that takes a far more traditional wristwatch approach...

Papercraft mockup makes the case for iPhablet

Conflicting rumors signify an iPhablet, a nearly five-inch iPhone, may be released either some time in 2013 or during the summer of 2014. Speculation of a new form factor brings along a theory that Apple could simply blow up the display while keeping the iPhone 5's 1,136-by-640 pixel resolution, presumably making developers' life easier. But there's a catch to enlarging the display without boosting its resolution: density of the pixels would drop from the Retina iPhone 326ppi to just 264ppi.

Though likely insufficient for the Retina moniker, that particular pixel density conveniently matches up with the the full-sized iPad's 264ppi Retina display. In order to better illustrate what an iPhone with a display this large would feel in your hand, MacRumors has enlisted the creative talent of CiccareseDesign to come up with a papercraft five-inch iPhone mockup...

How hi-tech curved glass could be used for an iWatch

Even though there certainly is no shortage of iWatch rumors these days, we're kinda short on new mockups. Thanks to the United Kingdom's The Guardian newspaper which yesterday published this detailed mockup, there's something to chew on on this slow news Monday (it's Presidential's Day holiday in the United States).

We already reported on how former Apple exec Jean-Louis Gassée thinks the iWatch is an intimate computer rather than a smart watch with a twist. We also know from Bloomberg that Apple reportedly has a 100-engineer strong team working on the project. Taking it all in, The Guardian newspaper thinks Apple's take on the Dick Tracy watch takes advantage of recent developments in hi-tech curved glass, cheaper sensors and better voice recognition software...

New theory makes a case for a larger iPhone

It's easy to write off the recent rumors of the iPhone Plus (English translation of 'iPhone Math') as 'crazy.' After all, Apple just increased the iPhone's screen size to 4-inches last year, why would they go to 4.9-inches now and force developers to redesign their apps again?

Well according to the latest theory to make its way around the blogosphere, they wouldn't necessarily have to. Apple could theoretically make an iPhone with a 4.94-inch display, while keeping the iPhone 5's resolution, and developers wouldn't have to change a thing...

Amidst growing speculation that Apple is working on a larger handset, a Russian site has created this mockup of what it believes a bigger iPhone could look like. Created from details in the recent 'iPhone Math' rumor, the device has a 4.8-inch display and 12MP camera.

Contrary to other iPhone concepts, which typically travel outside the realm of possibility, this one opts to stay within the lines of Apple's current design schemes. It looks like the iPhone 5, but its footprint has been both lengthened and widened to support the larger display...

Apple is expected to make a few changes to its mobile lineup this year. For the iPad, it's expected to revamp the 9.7-inch model making it thinner and lighter, with smaller bezels. On the iPhone side, it's expected to release a new budget model.

As with all new product rumors, artists are using their skills and creativity to create mockups of what these things could possibly look like. We showed you some earlier today of the next-gen iPad, and now we have some of the rumored 'iPhone mini.'

Remember ahead of last September's iPad mini introduction, when a great deal of shabby renderings tried to depict what the device might look like?

It wasn't until designer Martin uit Utrecht set out to create some beautiful mockups that we started believing that the iPad mini would indeed become a smash hit for the Cupertino, California firm.

Also behind some pretty darn accurate renderings of the then-unreleased iPhone 5, Martin's now back at it with a bunch of new renderings done in Rhinoceros 3D, depicting what a full-size iPad 5 with the reportedly skinnier side bezels might look like. During its big executive shuffle last fall, Apple put expert designer Jony Ive in charge of all HI (Human Interface). And since then, there has been non-stop speculation regarding what kind of changes might be made to the ever-aging iOS.
