There were three new features total, but, at the time, one of them raised a lot of concerns regarding a potential breakdown of privacy. Following a lot of backlash and commentary, Apple decided to delay the features -- but it looks like one of them is making a comeback.
AltServer, an application for macOS and Windows that allows for the easy side-loading of apps onto iPhones and iPads, has been officially updated to version 1.4.7, an update that is currently recommended for all users.

Apple today confirmed an official release date for the highly anticipated macOS Monterey update. In the press release for its new MacBook Pros, the company noted that macOS Monterey will be available to the public on October 25.
Apple has relocated Safari's favorites section in the latest betas of iPadOS and macOS, putting it back right above the tab bar where it used to be before the controversial redesign.

Today, Apple has seeded the sixth beta of macOS 12 Monterey to developers. While this is obviously late in the beta process, it's still worth saying that downloading and installing the prerelease software still shouldn't be done on your primary computer. It's possible the software is still a little rough around the edges as Apple continues to tweak the formula ahead of a public launch later this year. What's more, this is the developer beta, so it's meant for registered developers.
