This tweak makes your iPhone display the time in Roman Numerals

Roman Numerals are an acquired taste, but if you’ve come to appreciate them as a time display more than basic numbers, then we have a gut feeling that you’ll enjoy a newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed Tempus Romānum by iOS developer Ryan Nair.

Tempus Romānum can be used to replace both the Lock screen time and Status Bar time with a Roman Numeral-centric display, and it’s very easy to use.

Get a detailed Weather display on your iPhone’s Lock screen with Mot

Like it or not, Weather is an important part of our lives. With that in mind, it makes sense for Weather information to be front-and-center on our smartphones’ Lock screens as we use our devices throughout the day. With that in mind, why isn’t this the case on Apple’s iPhone?

While you can definitely swipe over to see the Weather widget from the Lock screen, I’d prefer a much more integrated approach from Apple. Unfortunately, that seems about as likely as a USB-C port at this point, and if you’re tired of waiting, then you can always resort to using a new jailbreak tweak called Mot by iOS developer Don.

Kalm is a more informative Lock screen for pwned iPhones

The iOS Lock screen has received a plethora of subtle design changes over the years, but they haven’t been quite as audacious as some users would like to see, and personally, I’d like to see more of my most pertinent information directly on my Lock screen every morning without having to swipe anywhere.

If you’re onboard with this train of thought, then I think you’ll enjoy a newly released jailbreak tweak called Kalm by iOS developer ubik. Kalm brings a beautiful new information-oriented display to your iOS device’s Lock screen, permitting you to see more of what’s going on at a glance with substantially less interaction on your part.

Tritium gives jailbroken iPhones always-on display functionality

Ever since the Apple Watch adopted an always-on display with the debut of the Series 5 model, I’ve wanted something similar for my iPhone. Although Apple offers seemingly no solution for such desires at this point in time, jailbreakers need not wait to enjoy what the features they want on the handsets they own.

Introducing Tritium, a new jailbreak tweak by iOS developer LaughingQuoll that brings always-on display functionality to pwned handsets.

Personalize your Home screen and Lock screen with Kage

When it comes to installing jailbreak tweaks on a pwned handset, my motto has always been that it’s best to install an all-in-one tweak instead of a plethora of one-off add-ons. Not only can this be beneficial from a performance standpoint, but it also keeps your installed tweak list nice and tidy in any package manager that you might be using.

Depending on what your needs are as a jailbreaker, finding the best all-in-one tweak can be a challenge. While there have been some notable releases in the past, many cost money of some sort. Fortunately, a new release called Kage by iOS developer YaYPIXXO brings a slew of customization options to both the Home screen and Lock screen at no extra cost to you.

Sakal displays upcoming alarms on the Lock screen

If you’re anything like me, then you probably set a morning alarm each day of the week to ensure you wake up at the proper time to prepare for work in the morning. But wouldn’t it be nice if iOS gave you somewhat of a heads-up when an alarm was set to go off the following day?

A newly released and free jailbreak tweak called Sakal by iOS developer P2KDev does exactly that, and it does this in a very aesthetically pleasing manner.

This tweak enables Apple Watch Complications on your iPhone’s Lock screen

The Apple Watch incorporates a plethora of useful wrist widgets that Apple likes to call Complications, and they permit your smartwatch to display useful information from your favorite apps directly on the watch face of your choosing. Complications are both compact and concise, and for those who’d like their iPhone to display similar data on the Lock screen, there’s a jailbreak tweak for that.

Watermelon by iOS developer LaughingQuoll was the first tweak to bring this functionality to the iOS platform just over a week ago, but with a good idea comes competition, and that’s where a new release dubbed Complications by iOS developer Ben Giannis comes into play.

Watermelon brings Apple Watch Complications to iOS

One of the reasons I love my Apple Watch so much is having the ability to glance at my wrist to see information from Complications. On the other hand, I spend most of my time using  my iPhone as opposed to my Apple Watch, and it’d be nice to have watchOS-like Complications present on my iOS devices.

If you’re thinking along the same lines I am, then you might be interested in a newly released jailbreak tweak called Watermelon by iOS developer LaughingQuoll.

Pin any Today widget on the Lock screen with LockWidgets

Have a favorite iOS widget, but wish you could see it directly from the Lock screen without needing to swipe over to the Today page? There’s a jailbreak tweak for that!

If you answered ‘yes’ to the question above, then we’d like to introduce you to LockWidgets, a newly released add-on by iOS developer ConorTheDev that lets you pin your favorite Today widget to the primary Lock screen page so you can view it at a glance:

Customize your iPhone’s Lock screen in depth with FingerLock

If you have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad at your disposal, then we think you might come to enjoy a newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed FingerLock by iOS developer MTAC.

Citing the details provided to us in the tweak’s Cydia depiction, FingerLock provides the user with a bevy of Lock screen-centric customization options that can help it stand out from the crowd. The tweak purportedly includes the following features:

NoDNDBanner disables the Do Not Disturb banner on iOS 12’s Lock screen

If you’re using any of the latest versions of iOS, then you’re probably familiar with the Do Not Disturb banner that rears its ugly head on the Lock screen whenever you have this feature turned on.

While it’s nice to be reminded that Do Not Disturb mode is toggled on, I find the banner to be somewhat intrusive in that it takes up space on the Lock screen and must be manually dismissed. Fortunately, a new and free jailbreak tweak called NoDNDBanner by iOS developer MrGcGamer does away with it automatically.
