ChargingBubbles gives your iPhone a slick new charging animation

If you’re tired of looking at the same old charging interface every time you plug your iPhone or iPad into a power source to juice up the battery, then perhaps it’s time you take a look at a newly released jailbreak tweak called ChargingBubbles by iOS developer Soh Satoh.

As the name implies, ChargingBubbles replaces the standard iOS charging interface with one that displays bubble animations near the bottom of the handset (where the Lightning port would be). The screenshot above shows what these bubbles look like, but for a more detailed demonstration, have a look at the animated GIF below:

Customize your iOS device’s charging sound with Bezon

When you plug your iOS device into a power source or set it on a Qi-enabled wireless charger, be it an iPhone or and iPad, you’ll usually hear a charging chime so long as the device isn’t configured to be in silent mode.

Apple doesn’t provide you with a way to change your handset’s charging chime out of the box, but a new jailbreak tweak called Bezon by iOS developer DevelopApple can help in this department.

ChargeAnimation brings a plethora of new charging animations to iOS

Whenever you plug your iPhone or iPad into a power source, a familiar battery icon appears on the Lock screen in place the date and time to depict your battery’s current charge. This implementation works, but it’s not quite as aesthetically pleasing as some would have hoped. Fortunately, jailbreakers now have a way to make this interface more interesting.

Say hello to a jailbreak tweak called ChargeAnimations by iOS developer c1der, which as you might have inferred already from the name, brings a bevy of new charging animations to your pwned handset.
