I take so many screenshots every day that it isn’t even funny, and as you might come to expect, they clutter up my Camera Roll in seemingly no time at all.
Typically, I’ll delete all my excess screenshots when I’m finished with them, but a free jailbreak tweak called Screender by iOS developer Esquilliaims to make this process easier by implementing a screenshot delete function directly into iOS’ Control Center interface.
Using my iPhone’s Control Center interface to adjust my display brightness and volume level has become a second nature to me, and while I love the visuals that Apple has implemented in the latest iteration of Control Center, I still think they could do better with the information displayed there.
With that in mind, I was pleasantly surprised to see a free jailbreak tweak called SugarCane12 from iOS developer manolz. This Control Center add-on displays numeric percentages in the display brightness and volume level sliders so that you have a better representation of their current levels.
iOS’ App Switcher, love it or hate it, leaves a lot of wiggle room for improvement. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to anyone that iOS developer Gabriele Filipponi and designer Alessandro Chiarlitti set out to improve it with the launch of a new jailbreak tweak called Gesto.
In a nutshell, Gesto augments your iOS handset’s App Switcher with powerful new features and integrations with the primary goal of making multitasking easier. And let us just say, based on our mind-blowing hands-on experience, this isn’t a tweak you’ll want to miss.
When it comes to using your mobile devices, including your iPhone, it seems like users can never have enough shortcuts. With that in mind, we’re particularly excited to show you a jailbreak tweak called MissionControl by iOS developer Dylan Duff.
As you might’ve noticed from the screenshot examples above, MissionControl adds customizable application shortcuts to the Control Center interface and lets you access a plethora of other useful options in the interim.
Control Center is perhaps one of my most-used features of iOS, from quick access to shortcuts and toggles, to a more detailed Status Bar on my notched handsets. But regardless of how you look at it, there’s room for improvement.
SmallCC12 is a new jailbreak tweak by iOS developer PeterDev helps in that department, as it promises a smaller and sleeker Control Center interface on both your iPhone and iPad. Above, you can see what it looks like on the iPhone, and you’ll see an iPad example below:
If you have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad in your possession and you haven’t yet started colorizing the user interface to stand out from all the other handsets out there, then you’re doing yourself an injustice.
Fortunately, a new free jailbreak tweak called Magma by iOS developer NoisyFlake can help you with this endeavor, as it lets you apply custom colors to the plethora of toggles and shortcuts that you use via the Control Center interface, as shown above.
Making the Control Center interface modular was perhaps one of the greatest things Apple ever did to improve the iOS experience. On the other hand, Apple left a few things out of the interface from the start and hasn’t yet opened the platform to third-party developers for custom toggles and shortcuts. With that in mind, it certainly pays off to have a jailbreak.
A new jailbreak tweak called Modulus by iOS developer LaughingQuoll brings a slew of new third-party modules to the Control Center interface, and at first glance, each of the new modules seem to be rather impressive.
Swiping down while on the Home screen of your iPhone usually presents you with the Spotlight search interface, but if you don’t use the Spotlight search feature that often, then you might take a liking to a new free jailbreak tweak called SpotCC by iOS developer Kiran Patil.
There isn’t much to say here concerning what the tweak does, but just as the name implies, SpotCC makes it so that swiping down on the Home screen summons Control Center rather than Spotlight search.
While iOS’ built-in Rotation Lock feature can be an asset at times, there are also instances where it tends to be a real pain in the fanny. Case in point: when you begin watching a video and your handset won’t rotate into landscape mode until you manually turn Rotation Lock off.
iOS developer LaughingQuoll understood the problem with this implementation by Apple and set out to come up with a better solution. The result? – A new jailbreak tweak called SmartRotate has now been released.
Unlike Apple’s Mac lineup, the company’s iOS devices don’t offer a native ‘guest mode.’ This is a crying shame for anyone who wants to share their device with someone else while keeping the peace of mind that the other person won’t be peering through any personal data.
Fortunately, jailbreakers have long had the option of installing guest mode-centric jailbreak tweaks, and LendMyPhone 3 by iOS developers Luke Muris and Geometric Software offers one of the slickest guest mode interfaces we’ve seen yet.
Those with jailbroken handsets probably understand the importance of respringing and using safe mode for troubleshooting, among other things. Unfortunately, many of these features can be too far out of reach for comfort, and that’s why iOS developer Muirey03 has created a new free add-on jailbreak tweak for CCModules called PowerModule.

If you have any of Apple’s latest handsets with rounded-corner displays, such as the iPhone X, XS/XS Max, or XR then chances are you’re familiar with the tiny Control Center grabber that appears at the top-right corner of the Lock screen, as depicted above.
For whatever reason, this grabber doesn’t appear anywhere else in iOS besides the Lock screen; yet you can invoke Control Center from anywhere by swiping down from the top-right corner of the display.
