Despite being intended for older device and firmware combinations, iOS developer LukeZGD’s EverPwnage jailbreak tool has been receiving a lot of updates recently with support for more devices and firmware versions.
We’ve been reporting about the EverPwnage jailbreak by LukeZGD for certain firmware running on certain 32-bit devices since it first debuted back in December of 2024, and despite being developed for what many would consider outdated devices by today’s standards, the developer continues to push improvements to EverPwnage by way of updates.

Another day, another bit of exciting news for legacy iOS devices and firmware versions. There appears to be a new jailbreak tool on the block for 32-bit devices running iOS 8.0-9.0.2, and it’s being called EverPwnage by the developer, LukeZGD.
Talented jailbreak developer @dora2ios, known for their work on projects such as the Kok3shi9 jailbreak for iOS 9.3.x devices, the meowbrek2 semi-untether for the palera1n jailbreak, and for tinkering with the kernel file descriptor (KFD) exploit to make iOS 16-based jailbreaks for arm64 devices, appears to be working on something new that might be of interest for anyone using legacy iOS 9 firmware.
Despite the fact that almost no one is still using an iOS 9 device anymore, jailbreak developers continue to maintain tools that can jailbreak these versions for the convenience of those users who haven’t bought a new device and that might be restricted to iOS 9 because of device support.
