Adobe Photoshop Touch video walkthrough

As you may have heard, Adobe's Photoshop Touch has been released officially for the iPad 2, and we're happy to report that it looks very promising judging from our initial walkthrough.

This is definitely one of the, if not the deepest photo editing apps we've ever used on a tablet, and I think the majority of Adobe fans and Photoshop users in general will be pleasantly surprised with the interface and design.

Saturday night, Adobe launched its new Photoshop Touch for iPad app into the App Store in Australia , New Zealand and more, but quickly pulled the app shortly after. We assume someone pulled the trigger a little early.

Tonight, Photoshop Touch for iPad has made a reappearance in the App Store, priced at the same $9.99. As a refresher, Photoshop Touch looks like the perfect photo editor on the iPad...

Rumor: Apple working on both A5X and A6 processors

Adding to the array of iPad 3 rumors that have been floating our way, 9to5mac's Mark Gurman has published a report clearing the waters about recent talk over which processor Apple is going to use in the iPad 3.

There have been conflicting reports that the iPad 3 will feature a quad-core processor, while some say it will only be an upgraded dual-core. We've seen code references and pictures of both, but today, 9to5mac says that Apple has been working on both the A5X and A6 processors...

With the iPad 3 rumored to be announced in the first week of March, 9to5mac's Mark Gurman has provided a few more tidbits about the iPad 3's launch this evening. 9to5mac has obtained a leaked shipping document indicating that the iPad 3 has already begun shipping from China and is making its way to US airports. The document says that deliveries are set to take place March 9th.

New survey confirms the iPad’s lead in tablet market

Last week, iSuppli released some interesting numbers on the current state of the tablet market. The report claimed that the iPad dropped from 64 percent market share in Q3 to 57 percent in Q4, and that Amazon's Kindle Fire was able to grab 14 percent of the tablet market during the holiday quarter.

Adding to the numbers released by iSuppli, research group NDP has released their report on the current state of the tablet market, notes TechCrunch. No surprise, the iPad is still king holding a comfortable lead, with Amazon in second place...

Last week into this weekend has been iPad 3 rumor central. We first saw images of the purported tablet, hints of an A5X processor instead of an A6, and Samsung Retina displays in production. Tonight, comes another iPad 3 rumor.

The iPad is the world's best selling tablet by a land-slide, selling a record 15.43 million units during Apple's holiday quarter. Selling for $500 a pop, and more pricier for better versions, Apple racks in serious cash from their iPad sales.

Some interesting news has been released today regarding the recent success of the Kindle Fire, Amazon's flagship tablet device. According to iSuppli, Amazon managed to grab a 14% share of the tablet market in the last financial quarter, while Apple's market share dropped from 64% in Q3 to 57% in Q4.

Apple released the iPad 2 nearly a year ago so it makes perfect sense that demand will drop as the year goes on, especially when new products like the Fire get released later in the year. I expect market share to significantly increase further in Apple's favor when iPad 3 drops...

iPad facing all out ban in China due to trademark issues

Things are starting to look pretty bleak for Apple in China, at least in regards to its future iPad sales. The company recently lost a court battle with Proview, a computer monitor maker, who is claiming that it owns the iPad trademark in China.

Even though Apple is appealing the decision, retailers have already started removing iPads from their shelves. And according to a new report, Proview's lawyers are now trying to stop iPad shipments into the country as well...

As the iPad 3 launch comes closer this Spring, retailer Meijer has dropped the price of the iPad 2 by $70, to $429. Meijer will be offering the deal from February 12 - 18 according to one ad, and February 12 - 25 according to the listing of the iPad 2 on Meijer's website.

Meijer will also be offering $5 off of the iPad 2's Smart Cover and a free $15 iTunes Gift Card with the purchase of a $195 iPod touch...
