Back in August, Apple announced that it had secured the streaming rights for a brand new animated series based on the popular book, "Harriet the Spy." At the time, Apple was basically just confirming it was adding yet another title to its growing roster of animated shows for Apple TV+, especially those specifically made for kids. But today, we get an actual trailer.
Apple TV+ already has its fair share of content that can be classified as a "dark comedy," but apparently the streaming service isn't quite done adding to that list. We've known for quite some time that The Shrink Next Door would be coming soon to Apple's original video streaming service before the end of this year. The company's even teased the limited series already. But now we have an official trailer.

It doesn't happen every time when Apple gives a series order to a new show destined for Apple TV+, but this time around we have quite a clear picture of what's coming down the pipe. This time around, it's a new show focused on a young woman's journey to find her own voice.
Some partnerships take time before the fruits of the effort come to life. In this case, it's the multi-year partnership between Apple and Skydance Animation.
