Watch this hilarious iPhone 5 parody spot

Though we are fairly confident that we know what the next iPhone will look like, there's no way to know all of its features and what it's capable of until Apple announces it next month.

But that didn't stop Adam Sacks from speculating. The artist has produced a familiar-looking parody of what he thinks the big feature of the iPhone 5 will be. And it's quite funny...

Judge Koh to Apple’s attorneys: are you smoking crack?

You have to feel for US District Court Judge Lucy Koh. For the past three weeks, she's had to listen to attorneys from both Apple and Samsung argue over boring technology patents.

On top of that, she's had to put up with the non-stop shenanigans from both side's legal teams, such as bickering, stalling, and tedious requests. And today, Koh finally had enough...

Joy of Tech uncovers secrets from the Apple Store Employee Rule Book

You're no doubt aware of The New York Times' coverage of Apple's retailing woes and Cupertino's response: it raised wages and is mulling a career path for employees. The story is making the headlines and becoming a meme, so it goes without saying that Joy of Tech has a take on it.

Joy of Tech is a webcomic created by Canada-born Liza Schmalcel and Bruce Evans and iDB loves their funny takes on the various topics that have been occupying the greatest minds in tech (yeah, I meant that as an irony).

My favorite from their Apple Store comic: before putting on an Apple Genius shirt, please apply "New Apple Smell" scented deodorant, as instructed by your Hygiene Manager. What, didn't you know? that there's a fragrance which recreates the Apple unboxing scent?

Here’s Siri telling John Malkovich a really dirty joke

So, the new Siri advertisements starring John Malkovich. At the end of one of the ads, the actor asks Siri to tell a joke. She comes up with a line that's long in the tooth, giving him the "two iPhones walk into a bar..." routine. What's that? Not funny, you say? Didn't crack me up either. There's a better version...

US town to make texting while walking illegal. Really!

We all know that texting while driving is a huge safety risk and illegal in most countries and states, but what about texting while walking? Is that dangerous, too? Maybe this is the perfect ad for Apple's Siri?

If you've ever walked into a lamp post whilst sending a message – come on, admit it – then you'll probably say yes, but we doubt most would agree. If you happen to be passing through one US town though, texting while working could actually land you in trouble and hurt your wallet to boot.

Fort Lee, New Jersey, is set to be the first to ban texting while walking, with a fine being levied against those that flout the law. No, really...

Thieves beware: this iPhone will self-destruct in 5 seconds

In the world of iPhone rumors, things tend to get a tad ridiculous at times. In fact, if we were to believe some of the reports we've heard, Apple's next smartphone will have a 5-inch screen and be machined from liquid metal.

Well the folks over at AatmaStudio, known for their powerful Apple product concepts, have taken ridiculous to the next level. Check out their vision for the next iPhone, and its cool self-destructing remote-wipe feature...

One in ten men apparently more fond of iPads than the ladies

It's no secret that we are big fans of the iPad here at iDB. The clue is kinda in our name, but even we don't quite understand this latest statistic to come our way.

Put together by online casino Roxy Palace, a recent survey suggests that one in ten, or around 11% of men asked would prefer to get their greasy mitts on a new Apple tablet rather than a lady friend.

We had to read that a few times to make sure we hadn't imagined it but sure enough, that's what the numbers say. Just to add a little fun to proceedings, the poll also asked whether people would prefer any other kind of tablet to a new love, with the number dropping to just 4%...

The Samuel L. Jackson Siri ad you were hoping for (NSFW)

When word started to spread that Samuel L. Jackson was starring in a new iPhone 4S commercial, our imaginations ran wild. We figured that combining the outspoken actor with Siri could make for a humorous TV spot.

Obviously, Apple went the much more tame route. And the commercial that aired didn't feature any of Mr. Jackson's popular foul-mouthed catch phrases. That's ok. We found one that does (warning: explicit language)...

What would Chuck Norris do? Ask Siri.

Although the whole Chuck Norris Facts meme has ran its course, apparantly there is a jailbreak developer that doesn't want to let it die.

Chuck Norris Facts for Chatbot is an AssistantExtensions plugin that will spout off Chuck Norris "facts" faster than Chuck Norris can roundhouse kick a saber-toothed tiger...
