Apple TV+ film ‘Finch’ starring Tom Hanks sets premiere date for November 5

Earlier this year, it was reported that Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump) would star in another film heading to Apple TV+ after starring in the World War II drama Greyhound. We learned the film was called Finch, and that Apple had outbid a variety of different companies to secure the streaming rights. Unfortunately, at the time, we didn't know when it would actually start streaming.

Apple is reportedly bidding on an upcoming film from Paolo Sorrentino starring Jennifer Lawrence

In a very short period of time, Apple went from a fringe presence in the entertainment industry to a major player, doling out a lot of money to secure new films, TV series, and documentaries for its video streaming service, Apple TV+. And if the company wants to remain a viable player, it needs to keep doing that. So here we are with another story of that exact thing.

Brendan Fraser joins the cast of Apple TV+ film ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’

Work on Killers of the Flower Moon, the next film from legendary director Martin Scorsese, is well underway. But apparently there's still room for another actor to join the already stacked cast.

According to a new report today from Deadline, Brendan Fraser (The Mummy, No Sudden Move) has joined Scorsese's next film. Killers of the Flower Moon is coming soon to Apple TV+, but we still have no idea when the film will actually premiere on the streaming service. Today's report doesn't get us any closer to knowing that date, unfortunately.
