Like clockwork, and just as we reported on Tuesday, game publisher CD Projekt Red has officially released the popular Cyberpunk 2077 video game on the Mac, which is now available starting today in various application stores for macOS including Epic Games Store, GOG, Steam, and Apple’s own first-party Mac App Store.
It’s a big day for Epic Games. Not only did the company launch its wildly successful Fortnite mobile game on the AltStore PAL platform in the European Union, but it seems they’ve also kicked off the Epic Games Store.
There was once a time when iPhone and iPad owners could download the popular Fortnite battle royale game from the App Store. But after Apple claimed that the game had violated the App Store’s terms and conditions, the game was pulled from it, resulting in one of the most closely watched and drug-out lawsuits ever between Fortnite creator Epic Games and Apple.
Epic Games has announced that Fortnite for iPhone will be available to customers in the European Union in a matter of a few months.
Fortnite maker Epic has confirmed its Games Store marketplace is launching on iPhone before the end of 2024, but not in the United States.
Fortnite should be available to iPhone users within the European Union when the Epic Games Store launches on the iOS platform.
