Apple on Tuesday announced a new wearable: Apple Series 5. From afar, the device looks a lot like its predecessor, but it has a number of new features that set it apart. Perhaps the most interesting one is the new always-on display, meaning the Watch never goes to sleep, so you can always see your time and complications.
Apple formally unveils Apple Arcade, launching September 19 for $4.99 per month w/ 1-month free trial
For its first announcement during its big iPhone event, Apple has shared a number of new details about its gaming subscription service Apple Arcade. As we learned earlier this year, the service will feature more than 100 exclusive games that you can't get anywhere else, and today we find out that Konami and Capcom are among the launch partners.

iPadOS includes support for USB mouse input
As predicted in previous reports, Apple has added support for USB mouse input to its iPad. The feature comes to the tablet by way of the new iPadOS, as an Assistive Touch feature tucked away in the Accessibility section of the Settings app.
macOS Catalina announced with new apps, iPad as secondary display feature, Activation Lock, and more
Rounding out its WWDC keynote this morning, Apple unveiled the future of its Mac platform by way of an update it's calling macOS Catalina. As you'd expect, the update brings about a number of new features and improvements including new apps like ScreenTime and Find My, a new feature called Sidecar that lets you use your iPad as a secondary monitor, and much more.
Apple unveils new 32-inch 6K Retina ‘Pro’ display that starts at $4999
Alongside its new monster-of-a-machine Mac Pro, the iPhone-maker announced a new high resolution computer monitor. It's a 32-inch Retina display, with 6K (6016 x 3284) resolution, Mac Pro-matching cheese grater design and some incredible specs.
Apple makes iPad a standalone platform with iPadOS
Apple has announced that it is breaking out its iPad platform into its own standalone OS called...yep iPadOS. The move is a significant one, as it underlines how different the tablet is from its smartphone sibling, and the update brings about a number of new features and improvements.
You will soon be able to login to third party apps and services using your Apple ID
We're still swimming in all of the announcements Apple has made thus far during its WWDC keynote, but one in particular we knew was worth a quick mention is the new Sign in with Apple feature. As the name indicates, users will soon be able to login to third-party apps and services using their Apple ID and password.
watchOS 6 brings new Watch faces, apps and independence from iPhone
During its highly anticipated WWDC keynote on Monday, Apple announced watchOS 6 with a number of new features and improvements. Among those features are new watch faces, hourly audio chimes—such as birds chirping and streaming audio APIs. Apple has also added new apps such as Calculator and Audio Books, and helped the Watch gain further independence from the iPhone.
