Retro review: Temple Run
Nowadays, endless runners are a dime a dozen. But back in the day, when the App Store was just beginning, they weren't as popular. That was until Temple Run released in 2011. This game took the world by surprise with a repetitive, yet addictive gameplay.
Now, the game remains one of the most popular games on the App Store. Currently, it's number 11 in the list of action games. It's been downloaded billions of times, which led to a sequel that has been equally popular. But, is it worth playing the classic Temple Run? Or are you better off playing its sequel? Or should you move on to another one of the many endless games out there? Let's find out in today's Retro review.

Apple Arcade review: Bleak Sword
There are always games that you can compare to Dark Souls. It was such a great game that, when a game with similar mechanics or difficulty came out, people compared it to the Souls franchise. It even became its own meme when the series was more popular.
Now, people don't use that reference that much anymore. However, games still come out that give you a feel of playing a Dark Souls game, even if they have nothing to do with the series. That's the case with Bleak Sword, one of the best games available on Apple Arcade.
Retro review: Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP is one of the best experiences I've had on my iPhone in like forever. Downloading this game for free on the App Store's Anniversary was the best decision I made when I was younger. I wasn't the only one who got hooked to this game. On the App Store, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP sold 1.5 million copies, which led to this game to be ported to several different devices, the most recent being the Nintendo Switch.
However, being nostalgic about a game doesn't mean the game is good. So now, almost 9 years after its release on the iPad and iPhone, we have to revisit The Scythian in today's Retro review and see if the game is as good as we remember.
Black Friday deals on the App Store
Black Friday deals abound right now. And even if you don't plan on going out and take advantage of the physical offers, you can still use the digital ones. Especially on the App Store. A lot of apps and games have some of the greatest discounts we've seen this year. There are a bunch you can choose from, but here are some of the best Black Friday deals we've found on the App Store.
Arcade review: Sayonara Wild Hearts
When Apple launched Apple Arcade earlier this year, it had a few interesting and unique titles to captivate players. One of the launch games was Sayonara Wild Hearts, a game that caught my eye from the first time I saw it. However, I never really got the chance to play it. That is, until today's Arcade review, the best excuse to play the games you want.
Retro review: League of Evil
It's not very often that I run into a game that's not available on the App Store anymore. These Retro reviews are meant to look back at great games that gave us a fun time back in the day, so it's a bit sad when you find a game is not available. Especially if it's a great game like League of Evil was. While it's not available on the App Store, League of Evil is still available through Steam, so if you have a Mac or a PC you like to play games on, you can revisit this retro title on your computer instead.
League of Evil was one of the best-received games on the App Store when it first came out in 2011. Its huge success leed to getting 2 more sequels, which only improved what the game brought to the table. Now, the company behind the game, Ravenous Games, has moved on to work on a new title for PC called Deadtime Defenders.
Now it's our time to look back at one of the best games I've played on iPhone. Let's retro review League of Evil.
Arcade review: Speed Demons
When was the last time you played a racing game? Because it's been a while since the last time I played one. That's why I was actually looking forward to checking out Speed Demons, a new racing developed by Radiangames.
Speed Demons looks like it has potential. A lot of cars, different game modes for people than don't like regular racing games and a ton of things to collect. On paper, it may seem like a great game. But we need to take this game for a test drive in today's Arcade review.
