DismissAnywhere lets you tap anywhere outside of an alert to dismiss it

Different kinds of alert messages pop up in the middle of your screen throughout iOS. They can appear for a variety of reasons, including after an attempt to buy an in-app purchase or while you try to delete apps from your Home screen.

These alert pop-ups normally have both an actionable button and a cancel button, but a new free jailbreak tweak called DismissAnywhere by Demy Kromhof puts a new spin on things by eliminating the cancel button and letting you tap anywhere outside of the alert to dismiss it.

Zeal is a battery management system for your jailbroken iPhone or iPad

Lots of people take their battery life seriously, and it goes without saying that Apple provides the bare minimum of battery health and information tools; it has often been up to jailbreak developers to fill in these gaps.

A new jailbreak tweak release called Zeal by iOS developers Rabih M. and Stijn aims to answer all the cries from battery sticklers that have yet to be answered by Apple. It provides both an informative battery management interface that you can invoke on demand to see more about how your battery is doing and conserve power.

AdaptiveColorAlerts colorizes all your alert messages to match anything behind them

Most people use banner notifications for their day-to-day notifications, but some apps like Calendar and Reminders default to alert-style notifications because they require a little bit of extra attention.

For the most part, these alert messages look pretty boring on a stock iOS device, but with a new free jailbreak tweak release called AdaptiveColorAlerts, your alerts can automatically color themselves based on whatever background is residing behind them.

This tweak brings iOS 8-styled alerts back to iOS 9

iOS 9 made some UI refinements over iOS 8, despite the fact that most of the UI looks primarily the same as before. One of the things Apple tweaked were the alerts that can pop up on your screen from notifications.

In iOS 9, Apple changed the design a little bit and made the corners much rounder, and if you aren't a fan of the change, then a new jailbreak tweak called 8Alerts may tickle your fancy.

Palert brings tvOS-inspired notification alerts to iOS

The Apple TV 4 has a completely new operating system called tvOS, which sits right alongside OS X, iOS, and watchOS in Apple's operating systems.

One of the nice parts about tvOS is the design of the alerts and notifications. In fact, iOS developer Robin Vekety (@Integeritis) thought it would be a cool idea to port the new alert style over to the iOS experience for those with jailbroken devices.
