Speero — a system management utility for the iPad that we previewed last week — is now available for download on Cydia's BigBoss repo for $0.99.

This is an iPad exclusive tweak that allows you to kill apps, launch apps, invoke Activator actions, and more. All of this is easily performed from an interface that is engaged by means of its own Activator action. If you decide to try Speero, let us know what you think about it in the comments.

Speero is an upcoming system management tweak for the iPad

Speero is an upcoming jailbreak tweak for the iPad that places a system management utility at your fingertips by means of an Activator action.

Once Speero is invoked using Activator, you can manage apps, execute toggles, launch apps, and perform specific Activator actions from a list of up to 20 programmable actions.

There's even a provision built in for further plugins to expand upon the premise of the tweak. If you've been looking for a decent system management tweak, then you may want to give Speero a look...

Fake Activator app pops up in the App Store

There appears to be a new trend developing in the App Store: create a crappy application, name it after a popular jailbreak app, and hope folks mistakenly buy it for $0.99.

Last week we saw a fake Cydia app make its way into Apple's digital download hub. And now we've come across a similar Activator impostor...

Easily access your favorite websites with RapidLinks

RapidLinks is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to quick access a batch of up to five links by means of an Activator action. Each link is configurable via a settings panel in the Settings app. From that same panel you can also configure the Activator action that you would like to associate with the tweak.

Once all of your settings are configured, simply invoke RapidLinks by means of Activator, and a panel will surface from the bottom of the screen yielding the links that you configured. This allows you to access any of your favorite websites from anywhere within seconds. Check out our video walkthrough inside for a demonstration of how it works.

This is probably one of the more intuitive ways to adjust your iPhone's brightness from anywhere. Swipebright allows you to adjust your device's brightness by means of a simple swipe of the status bar.

It may not sound all that exciting, but it's a fairly convenient tweak to have, and it only costs $0.99 to add it to your jailbroken iPhone.

‘Aero’ now available for download on Cydia

[tube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kS86gtltKDw[/tube]

Aero is a brand new jailbreak tweak that allows you to switch apps in style via custom animations. We've already had some significant hands-on time with Aero last week, and we were excited by what we saw.

Aero adds a whole host of custom animations that allow you to switch between apps in very unique ways. It's a tweak designed by SBCoders, the same folks behind Deck, so you know it's quality.

If you've been waiting on pins and needles for Aero's release, then wait no more; Aero can be downloaded from Cydia's ModMyi repo for $1.99. What do you think?

‘Aero’ lets you switch apps with style and grace

SBCoders — the same developer behind the highly anticipated Deck jailbreak tweak – is back at it again. Aero is the latest creation from SBCoders, and their aim is to bring significant style and grace to the mundane task of switching apps.

Do they succeed in accomplishing their goal? Check out our in-depth video preview of Aero for the answer...

‘CmdTab’ lends an OS X inspired app switcher to the iPhone

Command+Tab is one of the most useful keyboard shortcuts known to Mac users. It allows you to quickly switch between applications using nothing more than a couple of keys on the keyboard.

CmdTab for the iPhone is a jailbreak tweak that is loosely based on what Mac users have been enjoying forever.

I say loosely based, because it doesn't actually allow you to select your running apps like on the Mac; instead, the developer decided to include a few predefined shortcuts that are accessible via an Activator action.

How does it perform? Take a look inside for the full details on video...

How to hide your iPhone’s dock with ‘DockHide’

DockHide is a recently released jailbreak tweak that enables you to hide the dock on your iPhone's Home screen.

Along with outright hiding the dock, there's also a provision to stretch out the remaining icon spacing to fill the void from the missing dock.

All of this is accomplished by means of a simple Activator action that you can configure via the tweak's settings panel.

Top jailbreak videos of the week

The big news last week was of course the new iPad and Apple TV launches. For that reason, we supplemented our normal deluge of jailbreak videos with some iPad and Apple TV unboxings, comparisons, and the like. But that's not to say that there weren't some striking jailbreak videos created last week, because there were.
