T-Mobile can’t afford to keep going, parent company says

While T-Mobile and its UnCarrier strategy are great for customers like you and me, apparently it's not the best for business.

Tim Hoetthes, CEO of T-Mobile US' parent company Deutsche Telekom, said in an interview with Recode the company's current path is unsustainable and something needs to change.

Need I say more?

As you might imagine, he couldn't refrain himself from dissing competitors and firing potshots at Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. And if you for one second thought a holiday greeting from Legere should be profanity-free, think again!

Carrier cramming, a form of fraud popular among major US carriers, results in small charges being added to a bill by a third party without the subscriber's consent or disclosure.

Such unlawful charges typically cover unwanted text message alerts and other services like unauthorized SMS subscriptions for horoscopes, sports scores, ring tones and similar services that cost ten bucks per month or more.
