Apple has unveiled the all-new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at Wednesday's keynote event and one of the biggest new features of the redesigned device is the updated rear-facing camera.
Apple launches downloadable iMessage sticker packs for iOS 10
Apple on Friday released four sets of sticker packs for iOS 10 that can be downloaded from the App Store and used in the new Messages app that Apple demonstrated at the WWDC 2016 keynote.
Each of the packs are free to download and include animated stickers that behave much like those in Facebook Messenger do when they're sent to the recipient.
iOS 10 tidbit: 3D Touch the flashlight toggle to choose an intensity
Apple originally introduced Control Center in iOS 7, which was their way of answering both the competition on multiple Android platforms and the jailbreak community in one fell swoop.
With iOS 10, which Apple announced at the WWDC 2016 Keynote this week, Apple has shown off some obvious changes to Control Center, including a modular paged navigation design and different color tones and styles.
Of course, aesthetic wasn’t the only change. Apple also made the flashlight toggle button from Control Center a whole lot more useful as well.
Downgrades no longer possible as Apple stops signing iOS 9.3 for some devices
On Monday, Apple has pulled the signing plug on its iOS 9.3 firmware for its lineup of iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads.
As a result, downgrades through iTunes to iOS 9.3 are no longer possible, and there's no way to upgrade specifically to iOS 9.3 from an earlier firmware.
Instead, users will be directed to install iOS 9.3.1 when restoring or updating their devices through iTunes.
Update: It seems that not all versions of iOS 9.3 have stopped being signed. It appears that iOS 9.3 is not being any longer for newer devices (i.e. iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2), but it is still being signed for older devices (ie. iPhone 5s).
Apple no longer signing iOS 9.2.1, downgrading becomes impossible
Apple has stopped signing iOS 9.2.x on Tuesday, a move that keeps anyone from downgrading their installation of iOS 9.3 or later to any earlier firmware version on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.
The move has been expected for some time, as iOS 9.3 was released nearly two weeks ago, followed by iOS 9.3.1 with some minor bug fixes.
iFixit tears down iPhone SE, reveals some interchangeable 5s parts
Following the first day of availability of the iPhone SE, iFixit has gotten their hands on their own unit and has started their ritualistic practice of disconnecting every little screw, cable, and hinge that comes on it.
The iFixit teardown comes a day after Chipworks' version, which revealed a lot of familiar parts in the iPhone SE that could be found in previous iPhone models, such as the 5s, 6, and 6s.
iFixit has not only confirmed these findings from Chipworks, but also provides some new insight about the iPhone SE's parts that is sure to interest its consumers.

The first legitimate hardware teardown of Apple's new 4-inch smartphone, the iPhone SE, has been conducted by Chipworks. Apple just unveiled this new handset at its recent 'Let us loop you in' event alongside the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
The teardown finds that the iPhone SE is more than just a new generation of smaller iPhone from Apple, but that it's actually a very clever device that takes the best from the performance world and combines it with the economics of older devices. This allows Apple to provide a product at a cheaper cost, but with similar performance.
As the teardown reveals, the iPhone SE is actually a Frankenstein of iPhone 5s, 6, and 6s parts that all work together to create a powerful 6s-like performance experience in a smaller 4-inch package.
MacID update adds multi-Apple Watch support, improved battery life, pairing reliability, & more
The popular MacID app for iOS and OS X has received an update on Friday that adds support for new features in the newly-released watchOS 2.2 and iOS 9.3 firmware.
MacID has been made popular for its ability to unlock Mac computers with Touch ID or from an interactive notification on the wrist of the app's user by way of their Apple Watch, rather than having to type a pasword to unlock the Mac from a sleep.
Version 1.3.3 of MacID is now available in the App Store for iOS devices and Apple Watches, and version 1.3.3 of MacID for the Mac is available from the developer's website.
