FCC lets carriers get away with lying about 4G coverage
Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular exaggerated the extent of their 4G LTE coverage in official filings to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the FCC itself found in an investigation. But FCC chairman Ajit Pai won't take any action against the carriers. Instead, they'll get a stern talking-to, according to Ars Technica.

Apple has raised $220M to fight AIDS via Product(RED) partnership – Tim Cook
December 1st is World AIDS Day, an annual event marked by the World Health Organization (WHO) dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic. Apple CEO Tim Cook noted the event with a post to Twitter acknowledging Apple's long-time partnership with the Product(RED) brand, now in its 13th year, to raise money to fight AIDS in Africa. Cook said that Apple's efforts have raised $220 million to date.
