iOS 26 will be released to the general public on September 15, and we can all now start enjoying the incredible Lock Screen Depth Effect.
Liquid Glass enhances the coloring on the clock, which is also now customizable in different ways. The 3D effect on the images makes the hidden clock given an even deeper effect on size and position.

iOS 26 Depth Effect wallpaper for iPhone

The wallpaper community, especially within the iDB Wallpapers of the Week gallery, could not be more excited about how the new iOS 26 Lock Screen interacts with background design. While earlier version of iOS allowed for Depth Effect back to iOS 16, the combination of Liquid Glass and scalable clock typeface double down on the interactivity between the image and iOS elements.
Unless otherwise noted, the following downloads were featured by @vukandric on X. Each download works well to hidd portions of the iOS Lock Screen clock, especially when making the clock dimensions much taller. My favorite of the set being featured first: a photorealistic recreation of a red-hued gorge, that looks down toward a night sky containing a blue and purple galaxy.
You may need to slightly adjust where the image sits on the Lock Screen and ensure you have the clock sized larger to ensure it ‘hides’ behind the 3D effected foreground subject matter.
