Apple’s glassy design overhaul in iOS 26 received criticism in the early betas. Based on feedback, Apple fine-tuned some of the translucency to make the Liquid Glass effects fit better with the rest of the system.

Liquid Glass wallpapers for iPhone
The wallpaper set below is the work of a Los Angeles-based digital creator who goes by @bakir5567 on X. While browsing my timeline for my daily dose of tech and political news, I came across these glass wallpapers, and I just couldn’t look away! Upon checking @bakir5567’s X account, I found he has published several wallpapers in various styles for free to his followers. So, once you’ve downloaded these, be sure to check out their profile and follow them for more!
The first four wallpapers feature glass designs, which ever so slightly resemble the stock iPhone 11 glass wallpapers. And the remaining four have a small squarish glass set against a color gradient background. Out of these eight, the blue one with the curved glass is my favorite, and I’m currently rocking it as my Lock Screen.
Thanks to @bakir5567’s epic color selection, these wallpapers look stunning as the Home Screen background in both blurred and non-blurred styles. I love the gradient look they add to the Home Screen, as seen in the three iPhone mockups above.
