Earlier today, Apple’s team sent media invitations and announcements to the forthcoming September 9 media event. The event is widely expected to reveal the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup, as with all previous September events. Naturally, along with the announcement, we received a fun thermal-looking invitation image. The “Awe dropping.” Apple event wallpaper for iPhone is available for your current devices.

Entering a half-decade’s worth of online-only Apple presser events, the September 19 experience will be streamed “live” at 10am PT local time. The event will be simulcast on Apple’s website, YouTube, and the Apple TV app.
Two major iPhone updates are expected. First, a completely new addition to the lineup comes in what the rumor mill is calling the iPhone “Air.” A moniker reserved for only the lightest and sveltest of designs, the iPhone “Air,” is anticipated as the thinnest iPhone to date, rivaling the latest iPad Pro 13” generation, which is roughly 5mm thin.
Second, iPhone 17 Pro devices are expected to offer a telescopic, optical zoom, exceeding the current 5x option on existing generation iPhone 16 Pro devices. A much larger and wider camera bump is said to house the mechanism that would allow a lens to physically move, to change zoom lengths without the camera further protruding from the back.
Celebrating the upcoming devices and mimicking the Apple event invitation, the following two iPhone wallpapers are offered by iDB Wallpaper of the Week featured digital artist, @BasicAppleGuy. Taking the thermal Apple logo and placing it on a dark background matches the official invitation.
A bonus download is offered using the same thermal-looking gradient colors.
