AppleCare One covers multiple devices, saving you money on individual AppleCare+ plans

Apple has unveiled a new monthly subscription, dubbed AppleCare One, that provides AppleCare+ coverage for multiple devices to save you money.

It brings all the same perks as individual AppleCare+ plans for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch and other devices, such as a battery replacement service, unlimited repairs for accidental damage, 24/7 priority support and more,“ combining simplicity and exceptional value,” according to Apple’s announcement.

The subscription provides extended AppleCare+ coverage for multiple Apple products at a reduced combined price. AppleCare One costs $20/month to cover up to three products, like the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Each additional product covered under AppleCare One increases the monthly subscription price by $6.

The monthly subscription price for AppleCare One remains the same regardless of the products that you chose to cover under the plan. According to the company, covering an iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch with AppleCare One will save you up to $11/ month over enrolling in separate AppleCare+ plans for each device.

Unlike AppleCare+ subscriptions, AppleCare One is more flexible. For example, you can add devices to your AppleCare One plan or remove them anytime you want, without any caveats to worry about.

Moreover, you can add Apple products you already own that are up to four years old to your AppleCare One subscription. In contrast, you can only get AppleCare+ within 60 days after the original purchase.

Simplified AppleCare overage

The new plan also simplifies AppleCare management. “When a customer trades in a covered product directly to Apple, it is automatically removed from their AppleCare One plan and replaced with the new device,” says Apple.

And because this is a recurring monthly subscription, you can maintain your AppleCare+ coverage for as long as you want across as many products as you want. Additionally, AppleCare One expands the AppleCare+ Theft and Loss protection to the iPad and Apple Watch. Previously, it was only available for the iPhone.

AppleCare One is available in the United States starting Thursday, July 24, 2025, on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac or by visiting Apple’s website or an Apple store.
