I usually prefer a minimalist Lock Screen over a busy wallpaper. However, I nearly always like vibrant Home Screen wallpapers. I set these wallpapers with the blur option, which creates a beautiful, colorful backdrop for app icons, as seen in the three iPhone mockups below.
