Like an F1 car around the track, Apple made a lot of noise around its theater-released movie. Tim Cook called “F1 The Movie” the “most visceral racing film ever made.” We’re celebrating Apple’s triumph on the big screen with this wallpaper pack.

Apple spared no expense in the race up to the movie premiere, or the making of the same. Alleging a budget of more than $300 million, even camera technology was bespoke, with Apple utilizing the iPhone’s camera technology to help shoot content from inside the vehicles. Cook shared that “it was important for us to be authentic to the sport and really capture that immersive feeling of being in the car.”
Seven (eight, depending on whom you ask) time world F1 champion Lewis Hamilton ensured the racing action, even down to the sound effects on certain turns, is as lifelike as possible. Hamilton’s F1 experience combines with the filmmakers from “Top Gun: Maverick,” directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
Early reviews of the film are positive. A traveling media blitz included showcasing the AXP GP vehicle alongside other genuine F1 cars in Times Square. In an effort to ensure the film is as accurate to true F1 as possible, “F1 The Movie” was filmed alongside the actual 2022 and 2023 F1 seasons, Brad Pitt even lining up on the starting grid and running laps on a hot track. For F1 enthusiasts, the movie promises a lifelike experience.
