Celebrating land, sky, and sea, the Monte Carlo coast within Monaco is a juxtaposition of several jaw dropping landscapes. Situated on a picturesque escarpment, Monte Carlo sits along the French Riviera and is home to the world famous Monte Carlo casino for the world’s wealthiest gamblers. The street outside is often littered with modern super cars and is, several times per year, blocked for races.
This weekend, the city streets are home to the classic F1 Monaco Grand Prix. In addition to Formula races, the municipality is home to the Circuit de Monaco, championship boxing, the European Poker Tour and International Auto Show.

Of the selected downloads below, the first up is my favorite, which captures a depth of field shot through the city streets all the way down to the bay. The image showcases the change in elevation within Monte Carlo, which changes from sea to mountain in a small 69.19 acres of total city space.
