Apple just got finished announcing a reduction to the Daily Cash back reward from shopping at T-Mobile with Apple Card via Apple Pay from 3% to 2% last week, set to be effective this June. But there’s still something to look forward to if you’re trying to maximize your Daily Cash back.
In an email sent out to Apple Card holders this week, Apple said they’re running a limited time offer in conjunction with Nike in which customers can earn up to 6% Daily Cash back from now through June 15th, assuming they use their Apple Card via Apple Pay, that is.
The email reads:
Get 6% total Daily Cash back at Nike, on up to $500 in purchases when you use Apple Card with Apple Pay through June 15th. Terms and conditions apply. Shop in-store, online, or in-app on the latest shoes, apparel, accessories, and more — just in time for summer.
In case you hadn’t noticed, there is a $500 cap. Most people aren’t picking up $500 worth of shoes or clothes in one feel swoop every day, but this allowance should be ample enough for families looking to jointly upgrade their shoes or get some new clothes or accessories just in time for the outdoor-friendly weather that Summer brings with it.
Daily Cash back gets added to the Apple Wallet app, which users can then redeem as payments toward their Apple Card balance or transfer to their bank account. Just as the name implies, this cash back bonus gets applied daily.
Apple Card holders have also recently received a 6-month free Uber One trial from Apple, showing Apple’s desire to spur Apple Card spending and encourage more sign-ups.
