Watching whales wallpaper for iPhone
Continuing on a theme from last week’s post, which highlighted the beauty of the Hawaiian islands, we take a look away from land and fully into the sea. Some of the oldest mammals to roam the Earth, whales have a natural beauty captured in the following selected photographs.
The following collection was sourced from unsplash.com. Unsplash is an online photographer community that shares their content in a license free environment, which allows visitors to download their images. Each of the five downloads is in a full-size, unaltered condition, as found on the unsplash gallery and is large enough to be utilized for both iPhone and iPad.
My favorite of the collection is pictured first. The image of a whale about to breach the surface is almost entirely blue. Emphasizing the oceans classic color palette, the full blue image is contrasted slightly with the shimmering surface water. It will make for a great Lock Screen wallpaper with the position of the whale fitting just under the clock or other widgets.
