Month-long set of gradient wallpapers for iPhone

A regularly featured artist, today’s collection is an original creation by @BasicAppleGuy. His ability to continually offer high quality wallpapers is incredible. We’ve curated some of his best work in a dedicated iDB gallery, if you are looking for more!
Other than perhaps a wallpaper with a single color, gradient wallpapers are some of the most simplistic; however, the blending of colors across a wallpaper is also extremely complicated to create in a quality way.
You’ll notice, each of the downloadable wallpapers, regardless of size, very carefully transitions colors and also prevents color banding.
BasicAppleGuy has honed his gradient craft for a long time and it is really showcased in his month-long gradient collection, which he released across April. I am showcasing my favorite in today’s post. The below downloads remind me of both a sunrise and sunset, mostly switching between my moods. An orange horizon gives way to a streak of bright white, which fades into a rich blue sky.
In support of a “minimal vibe,” BasicAppleGuy revealed a series of equally impressive downloads. Below are two more examples of his craft. To download the whole collection, including for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, visit the dedicated April 2025 Edition gradient gallery.
Every Sunday we feature new, photo quality, crispy backgrounds for your favorite Apple devices. Primarily, the section focuses on iPhone.
