In the iDB Wallpapers of the Week collection, we regularly feature creative designs by inspired artists and today we continue to fulfill that promise. The featured collection this Sunday is named “Glowing Wires,” which takes a gradient color scheme and applying into to individual points of light.

”Glowing Wires” gradient wallpapers
At first glance, I was first reminded of a Koosh ball, when I stumbled on these wallpapers at the direction of my colleague @iAnkurThakur, who sent me looking for these brightly colored, spiked images.
The collection is an original creation by @damonxart, a 3D designer. You can find even more creative work by following the account on X.
In the “Glowing Wires” package, it feels as if the artist took inspiration from fiber optics, if not the aforementioned Koosh ball.
Each individual point of line is a 3D solid shaft that changes in color throughout the space. Not only do the individual wires have a gradient color scheme, but the full mesh of wires also gradient from color to color.
Of the collection, my two favorite are featured at the top of our gallery. First, a full rainbow of color gradients in a radial visualization and reminds my of Apple’s own rainbow color scheme. Second, the deep blues, purple, and sky blue gradients offer a rich color palette and round out the collection.
