With the 2025 season kicking off, there are many aspects to watch on the track and in the team garages. Perhaps the biggest headline is long-time Mercedes lead team driver Lewis Hamilton taking his skill set to Ferrari. Trading his silver arrows for the prancing pony will draw most of the season focus. With seven (eight for those who celebrate) world championships, Hamilton will add to the experience of Charles Leclerc. Consequently, the ousting of Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz moves him to Williams. Perhaps Sainz can help regain the Williams racing team glory of the ‘80s and ‘90s.
A slew of rookie drivers will also make their debut in F1, a couple having never driven an F1 vehicle in a Grand Prix, ever—not even as a backup driver on substitute. Consequently, you can expect the season to be full of intrigue.
