If you’re interested in the deepest dive possible into your iPhone or iPad’s battery diagnostics, health, and more, then I would advise taking a closer look at a free app available for TrollStore-compatible devices called BatteryInfo by iOS developer developlab.

As you can see in the screenshot examples provided above, this app can tell you more about important characteristics having to do with your device’s internal battery. Various tidbits of information provided in the app include the following:
- Battery charging status
- Battery charging method
- Maximum charging speed
- Current charging speed
- Available charging speed options
- Current charging voltage
- Current charging amperage
- Calculated charging power
- Maximum battery capacity
- Battery charge cycle count
- Designed vs. remaining battery capacity
- Current battery percentage
- Current real-time battery capacity remaining
- Current battery voltage
- And more…
The above information is found in the BatteryInfo app’s Home tab, but if you navigate over to the History tab, you’ll find record-keeping statistics having to do with your battery. You can make new records on demand, showing how your battery wears over time.
In the Settings tab, users will find additional configurable settings, which include the following:
- Schedule battery data refresh
- Display charging data when uncharged
- Show battery information in Settings
- View data records
- Configure the accuracy algorithm of the maximum battery capacity accuracy
- And more…
BatteryInfo shows a lot more information than Apple does about your device’s internal battery, and given that it’s completely free, it’s something that I could recommend to anyone who uses TrollStore. With it, you can get a 30,000-foot view of your battery’s health, see more about the chargers you’re using to power it up, and view various capacity metrics.
Those interested in giving BatteryInfo a try can download it for free from the Havoc repository via their favorite web browser and then perma-sign the downloaded .tipa file via TrollStore; no jailbreak required. That’s all there is to it. You can also see what makes BatteryInfo work under the hood by viewing its source code on GitHub.
