That’s why I host this weekly roundup piece, bringing together all the news and reviews in this space that we share during a given work week.

Weekly jailbreak news roundup.

In this week’s roundup, we’ll be discussing the latest jailbreak tweak releases and iPhone hacking news spanning the week of Monday, November 4th through Sunday, November 10th . We’ll start by showcasing some of the most important tidbits and then outline all the latest jailbreak tweak updates after that so that you can distinguish what’s new.

Important stuff from this week

The best notification jailbreak tweaks for iOS 16

Best Notification jailbreak tweaks for iOS 15 and 16.

The iDB team thought long and hard about the jailbreak tweaks that we’ve shown you throughout the past few years that can improve the notification experience on pwned iOS 15 and 16 devices.

All that brainstorming helped us devise a list of jailbreak tweaks that do exactly that, and now, we’re excited to share that list with you.

Be sure to check out our full roundup of jailbreak tweaks for enhancing the notification experience on jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices.

iOS 18.0.1 unsigned

iOS 18 downgrade.

Apple on Monday stopped signing iOS & iPadOS 18.0.1, which effectively prevents iPhone and iPad users from downgrading from the newer iOS & iPadOS 18.1 firmware.

You can learn about this and the implications that it has in our full news post.

Nugget updates

The Nugget SparseRestore-based device modding utility for iOS 17 and 18 has been updated this past week with new features and improvements.

You can learn about the latest Nugget updates below:

TweakHub

TweakHub user interface.

With the TweakHub jailbreak tweak, you can summon an interface with a simple gesture that contains all the preference panes for your installed jailbreak tweaks that you’d normally find in the Settings app.

The goal of this tweak is to make it easier to find and use these preference panes by reducing the number of steps required to access them.

You can learn more about TweakHub in our full review post.

PMConfirm

With the PMConfirm jailbreak tweak installed, you’ll never have to worry about accidentally setting an alarm for a PM time instead of an AM time ever again.

That’s because this tweak displays a confirmation message when you try to set an alarm with PM, and if you didn’t mean to do it, it gives you a second chance to set AM so you don’t miss an important scheduled event.

You can learn more about PMConfirm in our full review post.

SettingsRevamp

Have you ever wanted to use your jailbreak to both organize and customize the Settings app in ways that Apple doesn’t allow for out of the box?

If so, then the SettingsRevamp jailbreak tweak is for you.

We recommend checking out our full review post to learn more about what this tweak is capable of and whether it’ll fit your requirements.

Immortalizer

With the Immortalizer jailbreak tweak, you can force apps to run in the background, even when they’re only supposed to run in the foreground.

Immortalizer displays useful indicators and toast messages throughout this process so you never forget what’s happening in the background.

You can learn more about Immortalizer and how it works in our full review post.

UI Switches

With the UI Switches add-on for SnowBoard, you can theme your system’s toggle switches so that they match the primary icon of the jailbreak tool you’re using.
