UI Switches adds flair to any jailbroken device with jailbreak-themed toggle switches

Regardless of what jailbreak you might be using, you might find that a new SnowBoard add-on called UI Switches by iOS developer Fadh1l helps you show it off just a little bit more.

As first discussed in a post shared to /r/jailbreak this past week, UI Switches replaces the icon on your device’s systemwide toggle switches to match the logo of the jailbreak you’re using.

In the screenshot examples above, you can see that UI Switches includes icons for the following jailbreaks:

  • Dopamine (red)
  • Dopamine (violet)
  • Dopamine (pink)
  • Electra
  • Odyssey
  • RootHide
  • RootHide (3D)
  • Unc0ver

Notably missing from this list are the palera1n and XinaA15 jailbreak icons, and it remains to be seen if the developer will be adding those in a future update.

The tweak is enabled and then your switches are selected from the SnowBoard preference panel in the Settings app post-installation.

The developer noted in their post that UI Switches supports rootless jailbreaks, as does SnowBoard. In addition to SnowBoard, you will need the SnowBoard UI Extension to use UI Switches, both of which are available from SparkDev’s personal repository below:

UI Switches works in not only the native Settings app, but also in other apps that have these native-style toggle switches. They appear on switches whether they’re toggled on or off.

While these kinds of aesthetics come down to personal preference, those interested in having them on their jailbroken device can download UI Switches for free from the developer’s personal repository below:
