If you’re still rocking an older version of iOS on your iPhone because you’re jailbroken, and you’re upset that you might be missing out on important features found in iOS 18, then we’ve got you covered.
In today’s piece, we’ll be going over several jailbreak tweaks that you can install on your jailbroken iOS 15 or 16 device right now to give you the illusion that you’re actually running iOS 18, even though you’re not.
Keep in mind that these jailbreak tweaks might be implemented slightly differently than the native features, but they’re close enough that someone without a keen eye for jailbreak tweaks might not even know the difference.
So without further ado, let’s dive right in!
Best iOS 18 feature-porting jailbreak tweaks for iOS 15 & 16
Vantaye
Perhaps one of the most eye-catching new features in iOS 18 are the new aesthetics that can be applied to Home Screen app icons. For example, you can either tint your app icons a specific color, or you can make them Dark Mode-friendly instead of eye-searingly bright.
If you’re rocking a jailbroken iOS 15 or 16 device, then you can use Surenix’s Vantaye theme with SnowBoard to get almost the exact same look. This theme gives your Home Screen’s app icons a Dark Mode-friendly makeover, while keeping the mostly-stock appearance.

TrollRecorder JB
Another important new feature of iOS 18 is the ability to record phone calls, which can be saved as audio files and transcribed within the Notes app on your device.
Jailbreakers have been able to record phone calls for quite some time, but if you want to do this on iOS 15 or 16, then TrollRecorder JB is likely your best bet.

PopOutButtons
If you hadn’t noticed already, iOS 18 adds a new animation to your device when you press either of the volume buttons or the sleep/wake button. The animation appears at the edge of your display, almost as if the button is bring pressed into your display, and it’s slick!
You can now get this animation on your jailbroken device running iOS 15 or 16 as well, and that’s possible by way of a free jailbreak tweak called PopOutButtons by iOS developer tesla_man.

NotificationsGroupCount
A major feature in the iOS 18.1 update is the ability for alike notifications to be grouped into stacks and for the operating system to display a badge with the number of notifications residing in that stack.
The new NotificationsGroupCount jailbreak tweak by iOS developer 0xkuj brings this same functionality to jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices, and even adds more features to customize the aesthetics of this feature than the stock iOS 18 update does.

LoopVideos
One of the new features in iOS 18 that a lot of people had nearly missed is that video files viewed in the Photos app will now automatically loop – that is, start from the beginning again once they finish – when you have the video on your screen.
The LoopVideos jailbreak tweak by iOS developer ETHN brings this functionality to jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices, meaning you’ll get the same features that even a brand-new device bought in-store today would.

QuickActions
You can now customize the Camera and Flashlight toggles on the Lock Screen for the first time since their inception starting with iOS 18, but if you’re jailbroken, then you don’t need to upgrade to enjoy this feature.
The QuickActions jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Cameron Katri makes quick work of customizing the Lock Screen’s Quick Action buttons on jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices, allowing you to substitute other shortcuts in their place, just as you can in iOS 18.

CalculatorHistory
It’s no secret that iOS & iPadOS 18 bring one of the biggest updates to the Calculator app since its inception, including a fully native Calculator app for the iPad. But another feature that often goes overlooked is that the Calculator app in iOS 18 keeps a running history of your math problems for easy reference later.
iOS developer Donato Fiore is making it so you don’t have to upgrade, though, with the CalculatorHistory jailbreak tweak, which allows iOS 15 & 16 users to enjoy the same running history feature in their Calculator app without having to upgrade and lose their jailbreak.

Griddy
Another feature that’s a long time coming in iOS 18 is the ability to place app icons anywhere on the Home Screen you wish, as opposed to moved app icons automatically snapping to the next available place in a series.
iOS developer mikifp has brought a nearly identical user experience to jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices by way of a jailbreak tweak called Griddy, which looks and feels almost the same in its implementation as we see in iOS 18. It’s a real winner, and you should check it out!
You can find out where to get Griddy from and how it works in our full review post.
CC18
Control Center got a major redesign in iOS & iPadOS 18, with a lot of its aesthetics taking on a more circular design as opposed to a square design with rounded corners.
If you’re fond of the circular design, then perhaps you’ll warm up to the CC18 jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Dayanch96, which makes your Control Center toggle buttons round instead of square with rounded corners.

BioProtect XS
One of the most highly regarded features in iOS 18 is the ability to secure individual apps on the Home Screen with biometric authentication, which prevents someone handling your unlocked device per your kind heart from letting their nosy side dominate your device.
iOS developer Limneos’ BioProtect XS jailbreak tweak brings a nearly identical user experience to jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices by letting users passcode-protect their Home Screen’s apps with the option of biometric protection.

CCSupport
Control Center has gained an exceptionally large library of new toggles in iOS & iPadOS 18 – so much so that it’d be a waste to recognize individual Control Center toggles in this list as alternatives to those in the latest firmware update.
Instead, we’ll refer you over to our CCSupport add-on list, which offers some of the same Control Center toggles you’ll find in iOS & iPadOS 18 for almost any firmware, including iOS 15 & 16. CCSupport is the framework that makes all these add-ons possible, so peek and compare!
You can learn all about these add-ons in our full roundup post.
Conclusion
It’s always a bummer when you must choose between updating to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and using your jailbreak, but with these jailbreak tweaks, it’s as if you can have your cake and eat it too.
