Apple knew that iPhone users were starving for new features in the stock Calculator app, which is just one reason why there were so many improvements in iOS 18 following what felt like years’ of neglect. But if you’re on an earlier, perhaps jailbroken firmware, then you might be wondering how you can improve your existing Calculator app without updating.

Fortunately for you, iOS developer Donato Fiore has provides a free jailbreak tweak called CalculatorHistory that keeps a running history of all your Calculator app-based calculations. With it, you can view things you’ve previously inputted into the app and re-perform those calculations in a flash.
CalculatorHistory isn’t a new jailbreak tweak, but it was previously only available for iOS 13 and 14. Upon migrating to the Havoc repository just this week, the add-on now supports the latest firmware on the latest jailbreaks, including iOS versions 14 through 17. Moreover, the latest release now supports all calculations, rather than the limited subset that it did previously.
When using CalculatorHistory, you’ll find that an added history button in the Calculator app brings you to an interface where you can view and interact with previously used calculations. Each entry shows the exact date and time that the calculation had been entered, making it easier to find specific ones.
One of my favorite aspects about the CalculatorHistory jailbreak tweak is that it brings a feature only available in iOS & iPadOS 18 out of the box to older firmware without the requirement of updating and losing your jailbreak.
If you’re interested in giving the CalculatorHistory jailbreak tweak a try, then you can download it for free from the Havoc repository via your preferred package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 14, 15, 16, and 17 devices and is open source on the developer’s GitHub page for anyone who wants to learn from it.
