The AltStore team took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to announce version 2.1.3 of the AltStore PAL alternative App Store for iPhone and iPad users residing in the European Union.
This update isn’t as substantial as some of the previous updates to AltStore PAL, but given the fact that the AltStore team promised a special gift to those who’ve been with AltStore PAL since day one (even before going free), this update is of significance for not only regular users, but those original subscribers as well…
Citing the change log for AltStore version 2.1.3, this update includes the following changes:

– 1 free month of our “Early Adopter” Patreon tierMisc.
– Added dark mode & tinted app icons
– Added Home Screen quick actions with support infoFIXED
– Fixed crash when fetching source containing app larger than 2GB
The new Day One app icon offers both light and dark mode-supported options, featuring a gold tint with sparkles. Additionally, getting the free month of the Early Adopter Patreon tier is of significance because the AltStore team’s Delta emulator beta with preliminary support for online multiplayer is offered through this channel.
Instructions for claiming the Day One promo are included on the AltStore team’s website, but not just anybody can claim it. You must have been one of the original subscribers who paid the €1.50/year PAL subscription to be eligible.
AltStore PAL, which differentiates itself from the classic AltStore sideloading utility, can update automatically in the background. But if you want to install the latest version 2.1.3 update manually, then you can follow the steps outlined on the AltStore team’s website to preclude automatic updates.
