One of the more significant changes in iOS & iPadOS 18 relates to Control Center’s design and functionality. Right off that bat, putting it side-by-side with an iOS & iPadOS 17 device, you would notice that Control Center on iOS & iPadOS 18 sport a rounder aesthetic.
Bent on bringing this aesthetic to older firmware, iOS developer Dayanch96 released and new and free jailbreak tweak called CC18 that makes Control Center on iOS & iPadOS 17 and earlier look more like Control Center on iOS & iPadOS 18.
To be perfectly clear, CC18 doesn’t give iOS & iPadOS 17 users the same Control Center experience they’d get in iOS & iPadOS 18, such as the integrated Now Playing and Connectivity pages. It also doesn’t bring the slew of added available toggles that are available starting with iOS & iPadOS 18.
But… CC18 does bring the same degree of roundness to each of the individual Control Center modules so that jailbreakers on older firmware can enjoy the same circular aesthetics that iOS & iPadOS 18 users have out of the box.
If you’re interested in having this aesthetic for your jailbroken device, then you can download the CC18 jailbreak tweak for free from the developer’s GitHub page and then manually install the downloaded .deb file with a package manager or file manager app of your choice.
Please note that CC18 is compatible with jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 15 and 16 devices and is open source on GitHub for those wishing to learn from it.
