Painted wallpapers for iPhone
The “Strokes” wallpaper collection is the creative work of @BasicAppleGuy, who is regularly featured in a dedicated iDB wallpaper gallery.
In his article describing the process, he was able to utilize MidJourney for inspiration and a canvas on which to improve the original creations. Taking the images into both Topaz and Pixelmator Pro allowed for more control of the design process, including upscaling and cleaning.
Testing of multiple prompts, textures and colorways generated a large collection of images. Ultimately, the offered downloads are the end result of an extended creative process. The resulting collection is a high detailed and colorful digital rendition of incredibly vibrant, physical canvases.
My favorite in the collection is saved for last in the gallery below. “Loop,” is also the featured image of the article. I really enjoy the bright white top left color, which ultimately terminates in a black bottom right corner. The circular paint “strokes” gives the loop-like nature, which is the namesake of the wallpaper.
