Now a few weeks post launch, the Desert Titanium iPhone 16 Pro devices are still the talk of armchair analysts. It is really the allusive nature of the color way that gets most of the conversation. In certain lights, the new Desert Titanium appears white, in others it can appear a much darker brown. Desert Titanium gradients are the perfect combination for your newest iPhone Pro devices. The dark version perhaps making an even better, minimalistic Home Screen option.
And, not to isolate the gradient colors to the Desert option, more variants are available in White Titanium, Black Titanium, and also a Starlight option.
While this article is focused on Desert Titanium, my favorite of the collection is the very subtle White Titanium option, even though my iPhone 16 Pro Max is black. I really enjoyed my iPhone 15 Pro Max in white; it was my first white iPhone since iPhone 5s a full decade ago.
After seeing the iPhone 16 devices, I am starting to join the growing voice that Pro users also prefer colors. Don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate the subtle Pro color options, but why can’t Apple throw us one or two vibrant colors each year? I think they would be surprised as it would most likely become the best selling Pro option.
