The RootHide Procursus-based bootstrap for TrollStore received a new beta update early Thursday morning, officially bringing it up to version 1.2.4 beta.

The RootHide development team announced the latest beta update in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter), with no specific change log listed — but we reached out to get the scoop.
According to the response we received, RootHide v1.2.4 beta incorporates the following changes:
– Fix an issue in all previous versions that may cause rootless-compat updates to fail to apply
– Bypass some jailbreak detections
– Fix an issue where Frida did not work
– Add an option to enable URL Schemes
– Clean up excessive output logs when installing
According to the RootHide development team, RootHide v1.2.4 beta fixes issues since the last public release (version 1.2.1) and the previous beta release (version 1.2.3 beta).
Because this is a beta update, it’s optional for everyone. If you were already using the previous beta release, however, then you might consider grabbing this update. It is likely to come out of beta quickly if no major bugs are reported, making it more available for everyone.
The RootHide bootstrap comes in the form of a .tipa file that works with the TrollStore perma-signing utility. With it, users can inject jailbreak tweaks and add-ons directly into their apps and evade jailbreak detection while doing it.
Obviously, supported firmware depends on TrollStore, which works on iOS & iPadOS 15.0 through 16.6.1 and 17.0. If you’re jailbroken already, then you don’t need to use the RootHide bootstrap. The same goes for if you’re using the Serotonin semi-jailbreak, as these tools enable systemwide tweak injection as opposed to app-based only.
