Once again we are in a Star Wars timeline. Set 100 years before Episode I, Disney+’s The Acolyte takes us to a time of the High Republic, or at least its formative years. However, watching the new series really just makes me nostalgic for original Star Wars characters. I enjoy The Acolyte’s storyline, as much as any modern Star War, but it is something about the original trilogy that is hard to recapture in today’s fast-paced streaming world of twenty-five-cent content. Capture the emotion of Star Wars with this artistic wallpaper pack.
Star Wars wallpaper for iPhone
Going through the iDB Wallpapers of the Week history, now spanning almost eleven years, we find that Star Wars wallpapers are always popular. Not only are they a hit on launch, but readers continue to find and revisit these posts in the future.
We are excited to offer a fresh look on some familiar characters via @SeanKly‘s collection. Follow him for awesome downloads, on a regular basis. You can also follow his wallpapers via the Mockup M app for iPhone. The Mockup M app allows you to create gradient wallpapers, mockup your wallpapers in devices, and download incredibly artistic wallpapers from a curated gallery of digital artists. I played around with the app for a few weeks–you should too. It has a load of awesome tools and images, with even more capabilities already in the works for iOS 18.
Like Sean, if you have incredible images or know where to find them, send me a heads up on X via @jim_gresham, where I gather tips for our iDB wallpaper gallery. Follow along for mid-week downloads, sneak peaks of upcoming posts, and general Apple gadget commentary.
