Lego inspired wallpapers for iPad and desktop

Growing up, nothing sparked imagination more than playing with LEGO bricks. From spaceships to castles to entire cities, creating these models one brick at a time is a nostalgic memory. Capture these scenes with inspired LEGO wallpaper downloads that depict scenes of transportation, sized for your iPad and desktop devices.

Inspired Lego wallpapers

I got the idea for LEGO wallpapers after a recent family vacation. We like to take along a kit in case of rainy weather. On this particular trip, I built the Porsche 911 Targa/Turbo and McLaren F1 Speed Champion kit. It recalled days growing up building LEGO with my dad.

When it came to a wallpaper theme, this recent building experience came to mind. What would it look like to have a photo quality wallpaper inspired by LEGO? Turns out, they look pretty awesome as crispy backgrounds, especially on the iPad and desktop screen sizes.

I’m a big fan of the LEGO Speed Champion series and the transportation motif resonated with me. Consequently, my favorite of the collection is the first image. This GT40-looking LEGO car is in a grey and blue, which contrasts well with the autumnal scene on a country road. Colors play against each other to make for a rich, golden hour based wallpaper.

The following downloads are sized to fit the 4K 24″ iMac (basically 5K) and will be suitable for any similarly sized 4K screen. They can be pared down for the iPad screens as well, particularly in landscape mode.
